Schloss Bruck - Museum of the City of Lienz

"... worthy of a prince...", this is how the Tyrolean topographer Beda Weber characterized Schloss Bruck. For over 750 years, the castle built by the Counts of Gorizia has towered, imposing and simple at the same time, high above the city of Lienz - and offers a surprising variety. Its walls were once a symbol of power and residence of the Counts of Gorizia.
