2004: Mask - The Other Face

29.05. - 26.10.2004

A journey through the world of the mask as a cross-border tool to approach a process of understanding developmental phases and cultures.

On two architectural levels, the mysterious mask worlds of indigenous peoples and cult theater are particularly fascinating, with an expanded interpretation of the mask as a source of inspiration for modern art and everyday culture: between samurai splendor armor, masking, and ethno-boom.

An exhibition in partnership with the Museum of Ethnology Vienna. Exhibition curator: Dr. Wittigo Keller
