COSMOS. Gerhard Haderer

With impressive art and a lot of lightness, Schloss Bruck starts into the summer. This year, one person in particular will take care of this, who has been holding up a mirror to people with a sharp pen and a fine brush for over 40 years: Gerhard Haderer. His first caricature was published in 1985, since then his humorous and at the same time merciless depictions can be found in magazines like the "Stern" or "Profil" – and last but not least in the MOFF, his "fine trash booklet", as Haderer himself says. The black and white MOFF figures will also lead through the museum, but the focus will be on his unmistakable graphics and oil paintings.

Those who expect Haderer"s age mildness in his museum-worthy works will be disappointed. Whether bourgeois everyday madness or politics: the painted comments have more than just retained their unvarnished and ruthlessly realistic sharpness.

An insight into Gerhard Haderer"s monthly appearing "MOFF", which is his fine trash booklet, you can find here: https://www.scherzundschund.at/moff/
