HUMAN BEING. Oswald Kollreider 1922-2017

The exhibition in the West Wing is dedicated to the 100th birthday Oswald Kollreider"s his deep spiritual engagements with religious themes, but also with the figurative and earthly determined image of man. Kollreider recognized the nature of man as a formal act, expressing the individual and intimate in his work in an expressive way. The artistic reflection of the physical becomes a symbol of itself.

Curated by Eleonora Bliem-Scolari, the exhibition also features touching works of the East Tyrolean painter who passed away five years ago, never shown in public before.
