Egger-Lienz in print

With the Egger-Lienz collection, Lienz offers its visitors masterpieces of Austrian art, which one would probably only expect in urban metropolitan areas. Whether "dance of death" or "war women", "King Etzel"s entry into Vienna" or "The Cross", the presentation in his homeland manifests the entire work from historicism to expressionism.

Embedded in these outstanding works of art, this year"s module deals with selected reproduction within the exhibition, which enabled the enjoyment of great art for many. Whether limited lithographs, printing plates for masterpieces or cards and leaves used by Egger-Lienz even for correspondence, a foray by the inventory of the city of Lienz enables an extended insight into the works of the master of Austrian modernism.
